About the BrewFest:
Countdown To BrewFest
Coming up soon: 4-Corners BrewFest
What did they pour?
192 Brewing
Shticky Blonde – ABV 6.75%, IBU 22
Our Flagship Beer. Blonde, American version of the Old World Kölsch style, brewed with noble hops, and wild honey gathered from the foothills of Mt. Rainier.
Shed Light – ABV 3.8%, IBU 18
A lighter, pilsner influenced pale ale with low alcohol and low bitterness. Crip and refreshing.
American Brewing
Independence Pilsner - ABV 5.0%, IBU 33
A delightfully drinkable lager with a refreshingly crisp finish. Hopped with 100% Liberty hops to lend the perfect amount of bitterness and spice while also giving it a touch of American flare, one taste of this expertly brewed craft lager will break your dependence on industrial lagers. Drink American.
Revolutionary IPA - ABV 6.0%, IBU 80
Honey colored with a refreshing citrus aroma. A light malt body balances out the bold citrus flavors of orange and grapefruit from Amarillo hops. Smoothly drinkable with a lingering hop bitterness, there is no better beer to spark a revolution.
Session Mosaic IPA - ABV 4.9%, IBU 50
A delightfully hoppy, easy drinking IPA bursting with passion fruit and mango flavors and aromas that only Mosaic hops can deliver. Light on alcohol but medium bodied and full flavored, this beer is sure to please hop heads and session drinkers alike.
Downpour Brewing
Amadeus Pale Ale – ABV 6%, IBU 38
Single hop Simcoe Pale
Ohno IPA– ABV 6.2%, IBU 80
Smooth summer IPA loaded with 6 different hops
Downpour Amber – ABV 5.2%, IBU 22
Single hop amber ale brewed with oatmeal
Elliott Bay Brewing
EBBC Pilsner (Organic) – ABV 5%, IBU 23
Light-bodied, golden colored, bottom-fermented bitter German beer. Crisp, clean pilsner showcasing the finest quality German malt and American hops. “Like 2 rays of sunshine tangoing on a golden straw.”
Gateway Amber (Organic) – ABV 5.25%, IBU 20
Medium boy, smooth finish without hop astringency. Showcasing caramel richness balancing more towards malt than hops. “2016 WA State Best Amber Gold Winner.”
Riot Ale (Organic) – ABV 7.28%, IBU 62
Brewed in commemoration of the WTO Riots in Seattle. This in your face Imperial IPA packs a strong punch of distinctive American hops that are nearly constantly added during the brewing process
Fremont Brewing
The Brother – ABV 8.5%, IBU 1 Billion
Appropriately big, intimidating, and unbalanced with unrestrained quantities of hops for a head slap of beery ferociousness. Stone fruit, dank, and peppery on the nose with flavors of grapefruit and caramel throughout.
Summer Melon Medley – ABV 5.2%, IBU 45
Our juicy, tangerine Summer Ale infused with the cool, sweet, fresh taste of watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew!
Interurban IPA – ABV 6.2%, IBU 80
Offers the adventurous beer lover a warm embrace of Northwest Pale malt swirled with a hand-selected blend of Chinook, Centennial, and Amarillo hops. Interurban is bitter as an IPA should be yet balanced with copious aroma and flavor hops.
Cucumber Sour Weisse – ABV 4.0%, IBU 10
Touched by lactobacillus through a traditional souring process where we let this naturally occurring bacteria - found on all barley - have free reign of the wort in the kettle overnight before we boil it and ferment with our house yeast. It's like a lactobacillus playground (until we kill them during the boiling process). This all-natural process lowers the pH of the wort giving it a pleasant tartness. We then ferment out any residual sugars with our house yeast so the beer finishes dry and delicious ... just like you :)
Gallagher's Where U Brew
Hop-O-Crat IPA – ABV 7.0%, IBU 89
An IPA for all parties to enjoy this season. Hopped with 5 different hops, it holds office with pine, floral and citrus flavors. They stand united, so do your fact checking!
Island Paradise Summer Ale – ABV 6%, IBU 23
Dream of piña coladas and crashing waves while sipping this tropical treat! Coconut, pineapple and orange peel combine to make a delightfully refreshing ale.
Hellbent Brewing
Dry-Hopped Oatmeal Pale – ABV 5.8%, lBU 41
A dry-hopped American-style pale ale brewed with oats in addition to traditional malted barley. The oats give a smoother flavor and mouth-feel and help highlight the citrus and floral characteristics of the Mosaic, Simcoe and Cascade hops we add during fermentation.
Steven’s Session IPA Radler – ABV 3.6%, IBU 18
We decided it was time for Steven, our brewer Brian’s ultra-chill yellow lab to have his own beer. After all, he is our key decision maker and mascot! A sessionable IPA to help y’all keep it loose, like Steven does, all summer long. We put lots of hops in this one, including a couple of new varietals. It’s a mild beer, with a subtle, toasted malt character and tropical hop aroma, laced with zesty and herbal hop flavors. We mixed this beer with grapefruit puree.
Hemlock State Brewing
Scenic Route Pale Ale – ABV 5.3%, IBU 48
Scenic Route has a light body with just a bit of sweetness. It is then gently hopped to give a pleasant floral aroma. This is a perfect summer sipper, but great at any time of year.
Aurora Beerialis IPA – ABV 6.4%, IBU 83
Brewed with non-IPA drinkers in mind. A slightly fuller body accompanied by citrus hop flavor and aroma, but without an aggressive bitterness. It appeals to a wide variety of beer drinkers.
Brew-Tang Clan Wee Heavy Ale – ABV 6.6%, IBU 35
Though not an official Scottish clan, it is, however, a traditional Scottish-style ale. The low bitterness levels really let the rich, sweet caramel flavor shine through.
Lowercase Brewing
IPA – ABV 6.2%, IBU 70
An balanced IPA for IPA lovers and doubters alike; Not intended to be a palette wrecker, we opted for a more subtle approach to this beer. The rye malt provides a slightly spicy (warm), dry backbone. Mount Hood and Centennial hops give a jasmine-like aroma and taste – all while keeping the overall bitterness in check
ESB– ABV 5.2%, IBU 50
English-style with a state-side twist. Combines a Marris Otter base, creating medium body with extraordinary hop undertones. This easy drinking beer (read: not bitter) has a nice ruby color and a great, almost liquorice-ish, hop finish thanks to a combination of domestic and imported hops. More complex but extremely drinkable.
Lucky Envelope Brewing
ENICAC Mosaic IPA– ABV 6.6%, IBU 74
Our flagship award-winning IPA. ENIAC screams Mosaic hops with a restrained malt profile and notes of juicy tropical fruit and resinous pine.
Helles Lager– ABV 5.0%, IBU 22
This German-style Lager is a clean, restrained, and malt-forward beer with grainy pilsner and biscuit notes. We add just enough noble Hallertau hops for a balanced, traditional bitterness.
Hefeweizen– ABV 5.1%, IBU 14
A traditional unfiltered Bavarian Hefeweizen, perfect for summer. Light and crisp with a signature balance of banana and clove.
Naked City Brewing
Beer Garden Summer Pale – ABV 5% IBU 35
Late hopped, refreshing summer pale featuring Citra and Mosaic hops. Huge tropical fruit nose. Hoppy without any bitterness.
Orange Blossom Special IPA – ABV 6.5% IBU 65
Huge tangerine nose highlights this well balanced IPA. Hopped with Citra and Falconer’s Flight.
North Sound Brewing
Big R Imperial Red (Bourbon Barrel Aged) – ABV 9.5%
Lots of malt and hops in this one. A full bodied start gives way to a spicy bitterness and then a nice boozy finish.
Tangarillo Wheat Ale – ABV 4.5%
A single hopped (Amarillo) wheat ale infused with real tangerine juice. Light and refreshing.
NW Peaks Brewing
Ingalls Ginger Pale Ale – ABV 4.75%
A light pale ale brewed with fresh ginger for a light hop and ginger flavor and aroma. A wonderfully refreshing summer beer.
Stuart Stout – ABV 5.0%
Lower ABV, full bodied stout. Great bold roast and chocolate flavor without the ABV.
Salish Sea Brewing
Double IPA - ABV 8.5%, IBU 70
Deceptively strong, smooth and dry finish, huge tangerine-pine-lemon hop profile.
Dayton ISA - ABV 4.2%, IBU 55
Not our regular session. We are infusing this keg with something special for the event. Fresh, crisp, fruity, hoppy. You'll love it.
Twelve Bar Brews
Cut Time ISA – ABV 4.5%, IBU 38
A refreshing session IPA with just the right amount of toasted malt body to balance a robust hop aroma. Wheat and Victory malts complement Cascade, Centennial, and Citra hops in this flavorful yet sessionable ale.
Turnaround NW Red Ale – ABV 5.7%, IBU 30
TBB's Northwest Red Ale is reddish copper and slightly sweeter than the rest of our beers. The malt gives the beer a pleasant medium caramel flavor. Six different hops are used in this beer, including Chinook which adds a Northwest outdoors pine aroma.
Watts Brewing Company
The Leafcutter (Kolsch) – ABV 5%, IBU 35
A pale, smooth ale inspired by the ales of Koln, Germany. We took the crisp precision of this classic German style and adapted it to the American palate with PNW malts and hops, producing a beer of surprising depth and nuance for such a refreshing style.
Apian IPA (West Coast IPA) – ABV 4%, IBU 35
Our rotating line of IPAs is all about hops. Each release showcases a different blend of hops over a crisp, dry bed of pale malt. Join us on this odyssey of hop flavor to explore the finest varieties from the Yakima Valley and every corner of the globe.
Blue Orchard Bitter (Pale Ale) – ABV 4%, IBU 35
This American-style bitter brings the principles of English session ales to the new world. American ingredients and British brewing techniques join forces to pack the richest malt flavor possible into a 4% beer.
2016 will mark the 6th year of the 4-Corners BrewFest. We have grown (but just enough), and have become the beer-lovers' event of the summer.
4-Corners is the collaboration of the 4 northwest Shoreline neighborhoods of Richmond Beach, Hillwood, Innis Arden and Richmond Highlands. We share a point at the intersection of 8th NW and Richmond Beach Road. We also share a spirit of volunteerism, neighborliness, and community. BrewFest was the first effort to bring our neighborhoods together, and fine brews seemed like the perfect way to do that.
A BrewFest ticket is not just your opportunity to experience new beers or to revel in your favorites. Your ticket includes 10 5-oz tastes of whatever strikes your fancy, enough food to qualify as dinner, live music, and the chance to rub elbows with Shoreline's finest residents. Your ticket also benefits a charity; this year's cause is homelessness, and Hopelink is our charity of choice. Proceeds from the 2016 BrewFest will be split between the 4 participating neighborhoods and Hopelink.
In 2016, we will welcome back some brewers who have been with us since the beginning, as well as a few you may want to get on your radar. We hope you'll choose to join us on Saturday, August 13 for a remarkable day. We offer a limited number of designated driver tickets online, and tickets are on sale now!!
