Why do we want a new logo?
Richmond Highlands Neighborhood Leaders are conducting an open competition to create a new logo for the Richmond Highlands Neighborhood. As our neighborhood continues to grow and change, we want to establish a positive, welcoming and fresh look for the Richmond Highlands.
How will it be used?
The winning design will be used as the Official Logo for the Richmond Highlands Neighborhood, including promotional items, letterhead, banners, newsletters, social media, t-shirts, signs, the website…You name it!
Who can enter?
Only residents of Richmond Highlands
Contest is open to participants 13 and older
If you are under 18, your parents must sign the consent block on the Official Entry form (included)
How do you enter?
1. Complete a separate Official Entry Form for each design submitted. Unlimited entries!!
2. Submit hand drawn or digital files (scanned or photographed image, .pdf, .png or .jpeg. - less than 10MB).
3. Email your Official Entry Form and design to: [email protected].
4. All designs and entry forms must be completed and emailed by midnight on September 4, 2015.
What are the key themes for the design?
The design should capture the friendly, active spirit of the Richmond Highlands community. The logo may incorporate other imagery, abstract symbols or a catch phrases so long as the full neighborhood name is included somewhere in the logo. We’re looking for something that captures the friendliness of the neighborhood, something that considers that we put the Hi! in Richmond Highlands. When we see neighbors walking, at events or around town, we say ,”Hi!”

What do you win?
One (1) winner will receive:
Two (2) T-Shirts with your winning logo
Check for One Hundred Dollars $100!
Public recognition at an event or in the media
All entry designs will be screened, and those that comply with the Official Logo Contest Rules and have met the guidelines will be judged by the Richmond Highlands Leadership Committee. We will present the top three (3) logos to Richmond Highlands Next Door for a neighborhood vote on Sept. 18, 2015. The winner will be notified on Sept. 25, 2015. In the event no entry is selected, the RHNA reserves the right to declare no winner.
